The unit interfaces natively with Shining 3D metrology acquisition software. Instead of manually jogging axes or stitching disjointed scanning batches, users define the scan envelope and trigger the routine with a single click. The platform controls both rotation and incline in real time, coordinating sensor triggers to capture dense point clouds with zero manual handling.

Intelligent Path Planning & Auto "Add-Scan"

Deep blind holes, steep drafts, and internal pockets frequently lead to line-of-sight dropouts. The platform's integrated software intelligence automatically identifies point-cloud gaps and recalculates table orientation. It activates targeted "add-scan" passes to capture missing surfaces, delivering fully closed polygon meshes and watertight CAD comparisons without user repathing.

Multi-Object Batch Segmentation

High-mix, low-volume inspection runs demand maximum turntable bed utilisation. The platform supports simultaneous multi-object scanning across its platter. The software automatically segments individual components into separate target zones, registers their geometries independently, and exports individual mesh files per component for automated pass/fail dimensional reporting.

Flip-Scanning Alignment Routines

Capturing complete 360° top-and-bottom profiles is streamlined using automatic alignment algorithms. Once the initial multi-angle routine finishes, flip the component. The software automatically detects overlapping reference landmarks, aligns the two halves, and merges the datasets into a unified coordinate system without manual target registration.
