From Industrial Origins to Your Desktop Mastery
Born from Industrial Precision
HeyGears did not enter the market to compete with consumer-grade electronics; they established themselves by solving complex manufacturing challenges in the high-stakes fields of digital dentistry and medical audiometry. In these industries, precision is mandatory and downtime is not an option. This pedigree is evident in every aspect of their hardware, which prioritises repeatability, dimensional accuracy, and continuous operation over gimmicks.
3D Printer Superstore is proud to act as a strategic distribution partner for HeyGears in Australia. We understand that professional workflows require more than just hardware—they require a reliable supply chain. We pride ourselves on being the leading independent experts in 3D printing technology in Australia. We know that investing in a Heygears machine is about more than just the hardware—it's about the result.
Our partnership guarantees you access to local aligned technical support. We bridge the gap between HeyGears’ global R&D and your local production line, ensuring seamless integration into your business operations.

The "One-Click" Advantage.
In a professional environment, time spent calibrating a printer is time lost. The HeyGears UltraCraft ecosystem is designed to eliminate the variables of resin printing, offering a true "Load and Leave" experience.
1. The True "One-Click" Workflow
HeyGears has effectively automated the entire pre-print process. Their proprietary Blueprint Studio software utilises advanced algorithms to automatically analyse your model, generate structurally sound supports, and orient the part for optimal success. There is no need for manual parameter tweaking or "dialling in" settings. You simply upload your file and click print; the system handles the rest.
2. An Integrated Industrial Ecosystem
The "It Just Works" philosophy extends beyond the printer. The UltraCraft Reflex series operates as part of a closed-loop system with the UltraCraft Wash and UltraCraft Cure units.
- Seamless Handover: The wash and cure stations automatically detect the specific resin profile used, applying the exact agitation speed and UV exposure required for that material.
- Zero Guesswork: This integration eliminates the common causes of part failure—undercuring and warping—ensuring material properties are met every single time.
3. Intelligent Process Control
While other machines rely on static G-code, HeyGears printers utilise dynamic process monitoring. The machines actively track peeling forces, resin temperature, and tank levels in real-time. If the printer detects a potential issue, it autonomously adjusts the peel velocity or pauses for resin refill, protecting your print and your equipment without human intervention.
4. Calibration-Free Operation
The Ultracraft Reflex Range is designed to be an appliance, not a project. With factory-calibrated optical engines and intelligent resin cartridges, the need for manual bed leveling or exposure testing is virtually eliminated. It delivers industrial consistency from the very first layer.

UltraCraft Wash & Cure
In resin manufacturing, the print is only half the job. Inconsistent washing or improper curing can compromise the dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties of even the best-printed parts.
HeyGears solves this by extending their "one-click" philosophy into post-processing with the UltraCraft Wash and UltraCraft Cure units.
Automated & Material-Specific
Forget setting timers or guessing UV exposure limits. Because the ecosystem is vertically integrated, the Wash and Cure units are pre-programmed with exact profiles for every HeyGears resin.
- Precision Washing: The UltraCraft Wash utilises a platform-compatible design, allowing you to transfer the build plate directly from printer to washer without touching the wet parts. It applies the specific agitation intensity required to clean intricate geometries without damaging delicate features.
- Industrial-Grade Curing: The UltraCraft Cure does more than just blast the part with light. It controls temperature and UV intensity simultaneously to properly anneal the material. This is critical for engineering resins, ensuring they achieve their rated tensile strength and thermal resistance.
The Result: A clean, dry, and fully cured part with industrial material properties, achieved with zero manual calibration. It turns a messy chemical process into a clean, repeatable production step.
Wash
The UltraCraft Wash is a washing machine specifically designed for the Reflex & Reflex RS Turbo & Reflex RS one-stop production platform. Its efficient vibration-based deep cleaning achieves better final results. The system includes 2x Washing Boxes which can be drain from one to the other as a way to minimise resin contact.
Cure
UltraCraft Cure is a desktop curing machine takes the guesswork out of curing parts with independent curing cycles for each HeyGears resin. Specifically designed only for the Reflex one-stop production platform. The system not only cures parts with UV light, but also has a heating function that anneals parts ensuring optimal part performance and dimensional accuracy every time.
Pulsing Release Modules
The UltraCraft Pulsing Release Modules (PRM) in an optional device to be used with Ultracraft resin printers.
It pumps a cycle of positive and negative pressure within the release film of the resin tank between each layer cycle. Boosting your production efficiency by reducing the peeling force by approximately 50%.
Reducing the peeling force delivers the following benefits:
- 20-60% fewer supports reducing resin consumption.
- 25%-54% reduced support contact area. Significantly reduces visual scarring and post processing clean up.
- Up to 20% faster printing with certain resins.
- Improves printability on models with complex fine intricate structures.
- Print with special property resins that must use a PRM such as PAC10 Wax Casting Resin, PAE10 Elastic (Silicone like) Tool Resin and PAU20 (Polycarbonate like) Tooling Resin.

The naming of the HeyGears printers is so confusing... What is the main difference between the Reflex Series and the Reflex RS Series.
The naming of the HeyGears printers is so confusing... What is the main difference between the Reflex Series and the Reflex RS Series.
The critical difference is the light source wavelength, and choosing the right one depends on your application:
- The Reflex Series (Reflex 2 Pro, Reflex 2, Reflex Turbo, Reflex) uses a 385nm UV light source. As experts, we recommend this for industrial designers, engineering and production parts. It can produce parts needing be clear/transparent. The 385nm light cures without the "yellowing" effect of standard printers, creating glass-like prototypes.
- The Reflex Series has an extended selection of materials that you can print with- stronger parts, higher temperature parts. Flexible silicone type parts as well as wax casting resin and custom CYMK colour matching for the printing of production parts, not just prototypes.
- The Reflex RS & RS Turbo use a 405nm light source. This is the industry standard for opaque resins. It is the better choice for miniature s, desktop gaming and model making, offering incredible detail resolution at a more accessible price point.

I paint desktop miniatures. Which machine is best for me?
We highly recommend the Reflex RS or RS Turbo which use higher resolution 8K screens, producing finer and sharper details. The 405nm light source is perfectly tuned for opaque grey model resins. Combined with the "Pulse" peeling technology, you can print incredibly fine spears, chains, and antennas with fewer supports than almost any other printer on the market.
Who should buy a 385nm Reflex Series Printer?
Who should buy a 385nm Reflex Series Printer?
The 385nm Reflex is a specialist tool. If you are a product designer, engineer, or lab needing "end-use" quality parts with specific properties such as optical lenses, custom colours, high temperature, high impact or soft silicon like parts—you need the 385nm capability. If you aren't sure which fits your workflow, contact our support team; we can look at your specific use case and advise you.
What is "Pulse" technology (PRM), and why does it matter?
What is "Pulse" technology (PRM), and why does it matter?
The Pulsing Release Module (PRM) is what the killer feature that separates Heygears from entry-level printers on the market. Instead of yanking the print off the film between layer builds (which causes failures and layer shifts), the PRM breaks the surface tension off the base of the model-which allows film to gently peel away.
- Our Expert Take: We’ve found this feature drastically increases success rates on both massive solid parts and extremely delicate, thin miniatures. It essentially eliminates the "suction cup" forces that ruin prints.
What is the difference with the "Turbo" models, do they print faster?
What is the difference with the "Turbo" models, do they print faster?
The Turbo isn't just a marketing name; it features hardware a upgrade of a Amber Screen (vs a Mono screen). The Amber screen can achieve higher contrast levels and a longer lifespan. The higher contrast enables adjustments to the Dynamic Motion Algorithm that speeds up the printer during "safe" zones of the print, reducing total print time by up to 30-40% without sacrificing a micron of quality.
Do I need to manually level the build plate?
Do I need to manually level the build plate?
No. The entire Reflex series features an intelligent auto-levelling system. The sensors align the plate perfectly before every print. This removes the variable of human error, which is the number one cause of print failure we see with other brands.
Can I use third-party resin?
Can I use third-party resin?
While the HeyGears printers do not prevent you from using third-party resins, you can not make adjustments to the exposure settings in the software. You can only test and find a print profile that works best for the material used. It is advised to you resins within the Heygears UltraPrint ecosystem for optimal results.
Why? These machines are "tuned" instruments. The Heygears resins (like PAWW or PARP) are pre-calibrated in the software. You get industrial reliability with a "click-and-print" workflow.
Do I really need the Wash & Cure station?
Do I really need the Wash & Cure station?
To get the results you see in the photos, yes. The UltraCraft Wash and Cure units designed to minimise contact with uncured resin. The units are pre programmed for each individual HeyGears resin to clean and cure HeyGears then to their exact chemical requirements. Proper curing is essential to make sure your parts dimensional accurate, durable (not brittle) and your clear parts remain transparent for their intended life span.
