The QIDI Q2 Bimetal Hot End is a specialised, integrated hotend assembly designed specifically for the QIDI Q2 3D printer. Featuring a "Unicorn-style" all-metal construction, this unit combines the heatbreak and nozzle into a single, seamless component to prevent leakage and simplify maintenance.
This bimetal design utilises two distinct metals to optimise performance: acopper alloy body for superior thermal conductivity (ensuring fast, even heating) and ahardened steel tip for exceptional wear resistance. This combination allows for reliable high-speed printing with standard materials while offering the durability required for abrasive engineering filaments like Carbon Fibre (CF) and Glass Fibre (GF) composites.
High-Temperature Performance: Rated for printing temperatures up to370°C, making it compatible with high-performance polymers like Nylon (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), and PPS-CF.
It is recommended to use only one type of filament in a single nozzle. Switching between multiple filaments in one nozzle may cause nozzle blockage.
