Hot end assembly compatible with the Qidi Q2, Qidi Q2C and the Qidi Plus5 3D Printers. Comes with standard 0.2mm, 0.4mm (standard). 0.6mm and 0.8mmsizes.

The QIDI Q2 Bimetal Hot End is a specialised, integrated hotend assembly designed specifically for the QIDI Q2 3D printer. Featuring a "Unicorn-style" all-metal construction, this unit combines the heatbreak and nozzle into a single, seamless component to prevent leakage and simplify maintenance.

This bimetal design utilises two distinct metals to optimise performance: a copper alloy body for superior thermal conductivity (ensuring fast, even heating) and a hardened steel tip for exceptional wear resistance. This combination allows for reliable high-speed printing with standard materials while offering the durability required for abrasive engineering filaments like Carbon Fibre (CF) and Glass Fibre (GF) composites.

High-Temperature Performance: Rated for printing temperatures up to 370°C, making it compatible with high-performance polymers like Nylon (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), and PPS-CF.

Tungsten Carbide

  • Tungsten Carbide is an extremely hard and wear-resistant material compared to Hardened Steel, commonly used in applications requiring high strength and durability.
  • Tungsten Carbide Bimetal Nozzles are particularly well-suited for printing abrasive filaments, such as carbon fiber and glass fiber.
  • Tungsten Carbide Bimetal Nozzles can withstand high temperatures, making them ideal for materials that require elevated printing temperature
  • The wear-resistant properties of Tungsten Carbide Bimetal Nozzles ensure that the nozzle orifice remains stable, maintaining high precision even after prolonged use.

It is recommended to use only one type of filament in a single nozzle. Switching between multiple filaments in one nozzle may cause nozzle blockage.
