The Bambu Lab TPU Feed Assist Module bridges the gap between raw material flexibility and industrial-grade reliability. Processing elastomerics like TPU on high-speed motion systems introduces unique physics: high surface friction against PTFE paths and a tendency for the filament to compress or buckle under passive pull forces. This module resolves these dynamics by providing a synchronised, active mechanical push directly to the filament line. By taking the physical workload off the toolhead extruder and managing the supply path dynamics remotely, it ensures consistent material delivery, uniform layer lines, and uninterrupted printing through complex geometries.
Designed as a core mechanical and electronic kit, this component requires the user to print the external protective housing and mounting frame.
