A monochrome product presentation of the EinScan TRAK system on a simulated lunar surface. The system includes a ground-penetrating radar unit on a tripod, a cylindrical scanner head, and a small robotic rover, all set against a dark, starry space background with the moon visible.

Shining 3D EINSTAR VEGA Series of Untethered 3D Scanner

What is the Shining 3D EINSTAR VEGA Series? The Shining 3D EINSTAR VEGA Series represents a new class of all-in-one, completely untethered 3D scanners driven by powerful onboard compute capabilities. By integrating dual-sensor arrays—VCSEL for long-range tracking and MEMS for high-resolution macro capture—alongside built-in processing and active memory, the VEGA architecture entirely eliminates the need for a tethered PC or laptop during active digitisation.

The structural bottleneck in modern 3D scanning is rarely the sensor payload; it is the physical cable connecting the operator to a high-end graphics processing unit. The VEGA series resolves this limitation. With internal solid-state storage and dedicated high-speed RAM, the hardware handles raw geometry acquisition, point cloud generation, and initial mesh registration natively on the device. An integrated 2K AMOLED touchscreen serves as your real-time interface. You can navigate cramped workshops to capture complex mechanical assemblies or digitise large assets outdoors in bright sunlight without managing cables or transporting heavy workstations to the site.
