QIDI Max4 Bimetal Nozzles

Reliable, high-flow performance for your QIDI Max4.

Stock up on essential spares with this twin-pack of QIDI Max4 Bimetal Nozzles. Featuring QIDI's signature all-metal integrated design, these nozzles combine a highly thermally conductive copper alloy body with a robust hardened steel tip. This bimetallic construction ensures rapid filament melting for high-speed printing while providing the durability needed to withstand abrasive composite materials.

Key Features

  • Integrated All-Metal Design: The nozzle and heatbreak (throat) are fused into a single seamless unit. This prevents filament leakage, eliminates "heat creep" clogs, and allows for rapid, tool-free replacement.

  • Bimetallic Construction:

    • Body: Copper alloy for superior thermal conductivity, ensuring consistent flow at speeds up to 600mm/s.

    • Tip: Hardened steel for excellent wear resistance against Carbon Fibre, Glass Fibre, and Glow-in-the-dark filaments.

  • High-Temperature Ready: Engineered to withstand printing temperatures required for engineering-grade polymers like PAHT-CF, PET-CF, and PC.

  • Precise Extrusion: Smooth internal geometry reduces back-pressure, ensuring clean retractions and precise layer stacking.

Tungsten Carbide

  • Tungsten Carbide is an extremely hard and wear-resistant material compared to Hardened Steel, commonly used in applications requiring high strength and durability.
  • Tungsten Carbide Bimetal Nozzles are particularly well-suited for printing abrasive filaments, such as carbon fiber and glass fiber.
  • Tungsten Carbide Bimetal Nozzles can withstand high temperatures, making them ideal for materials that require elevated printing temperature
  • The wear-resistant properties of Tungsten Carbide Bimetal Nozzles ensure that the nozzle orifice remains stable, maintaining high precision even after prolonged use.

Overview:

The nozzle and throat have an all-metal integrated design for quick removal and very easy replacement.

Note:

It is recommended to use only one type of filament in a single nozzle. Switching between multiple filaments with significant temperature differences may cause nozzle blockages.
