The Up Mini 2 ES is a more advanced version of the original Up mini 2 3d printer with improved hardware and software enabling enhanced management and control in a classroom environment. An ideal choice for schools.

This 3d printer builds on the success of the legendary Up 3d printers from Tiertime and introduces the very latest innovations in user interactivity. The Up Mini 2 ES takes 3d printing to a new level of sophistication, ease of use, performance and safety. With quiet operation and HEPA air filtration, the Up Mini 2 the ideal desktop 3d printer for home and office. Additionally the capacity to control multiple 3D Printers via WiFi from one computer or smart device make it the ideal choice for education in the classroom.

The UP Mini 2 ES is the same size as it's predecessor with a 120 x 120 x 120mm build volume but now has an increased print resolution of 0.15mm layer thickness. Additionally, print quality has been improved with refinements to the extruder head assembly resulting in improved surface finish as well as a hotter heated bed which controls warping of 3D printed parts. 

Tiertime has gone to great lengths to push the boundaries of innovation, refinement and quality with the Up Mini 2 SE. We have seen many glossy flashy looking 3d printer startups and kickstarter projects over the last few years which always disappoint in seen in real life. This is not the case for the Up Mini 2 which is a true high performance 3d printer and thing of beauty. The level of finish and build quality is outstanding. The Up Mini 2 is fully enclosed making for an effective heat chamber. LED lighting and now transparent doors make it easy to monitor the progress a print.

Technological improvements include a touch screen with intuitive interface. Tiertime’s new Print Queue allows more than one user to send print jobs to the printer simultaneously. Files to be printed appear in the queue’s print list on a first come, first serve basis.Automatic nozzle height calibration and WiFi connectivity, USB stick or Ethernet for maximum security

You can now control multiple Up! 3d Printers wirelessly and effortlessly from one computer, smart phone or device via Up! Studio, a mobile app making it even easier to use.

Improvements to the user interface and overall user experience have been improved with the introduction of a 4 inch full colour touch screen.

With regard to safely and use in enclosed and desktop environments, the Up Mini includes eco friendly built in air filtration with the inclusion of a HEPA filtration system. 3D printing certain materials such as ABS can generate potentially harmful UFP and VOC emissions. The HEPA and Activated Carbon filter effectively reduce these toxic elements, known to be triggers for those suffering from asthma and other pulmonary disorders.

The Up Mini 2 includes it's own separate filament holding candy that also  includes a handy draw for your essential (included) tools
