I large build volume of over 7.5 litres, which is 11% larger than the MakerBot Replicator 2 at 252 L x 199 W x 150 H mm.
The MakerBot Replicator utilities a cleaver H configuration gantry system on linear rails. This improves the rigidity and reduces the weight of the gantry, enabling higher speed printing without compromising print quality. This combined with a 100 micron (0.1mm) print resolution ensures true to life high quality 3d prints.
The MakerBot Smart Extruder is hot-swappable- held on with magnets. The extruder includes sensors that will automatically pause if a issue arises and sends notifications to MakerBot Desktop and MakerBot Mobile apps. The printer can pause if you run out of filament, allowing you to replace the roll with a new roll, and continue printing where you left off.
The intelligent slicing algorithms of the Makerware Desktop Software generate easy breakaway support structures automatically.
First Test Prints in store at the 3D Printer Superstore...just brilliant.
This product worked fine so far. it's not what I was supposed to get as I wanted PLA-CF. My only issue is the cardboard spools. I managed to get by by not using the AMS.
I love it, the 5M pro, super easy to setup and use with default settings which allows you heaps of time to learn and adjust the device settings to maximise its output quality with out the frustraion of failed prints.
