QIDI Plus4

great printer easy to use

I love it

I used to own printers that either I have assembled myslef (Prusa Mendel) or localy made (Mendel 90) . This is my first enclosed printer and already after playing one day it look to be the one, well for time being :-) QIDI Plus 4 suits me well as it combined open software and well made printer suitable for large range of filaments. Adding later QIDI Box (AMS unit) will make chanfing filaments easy.

The product exceeded my expectations. For the price it 'feels' overdelivered and 'undersold'
I highly recommend it. I used PPS-CF from QIDI and out of the box setup and no tinkering the parts were precise and better looking in finish then expected. This is a great printer.

I have until recently only used UP printers. I have a Mini, 300 and Mini 3 and Box. Often I have all printers working at the same time. I needed to replace my UP Box which is almost 10 years old and it had done a lot of work so no complaints. I have been 3d printing parts for my scale model ships for 14 years so I have some experience.
I chose to replace my UP Box with a QIDI Plus 4 and have had the printer for two weeks now. I am very pleased with it and have tested it with a print of a 72 scale pulley block which is very challenging for my UP printers. Initially I had no success with the QIDI but after experimenting with the settings with QIDI Studio I have been able to print the block very well, in fact better than with my old printers.
The one down side is the documentation which supports QIDI software. I think this could be improved by aligning the explanations more closely with the software itself. I found myself having to search to find the explanations I needed. Also the Youtube guides I was able to find are not really very good as an intro for the software.
However, I have no hestitation in rating the printer 5 stars

This printer is still running like brand new. Flawless work, flawless results. I've made a few projects into reality since the last time I reviewed this awesome machine. It's still performing excellently. No issues what-so-ever. The onboard digital screen is intuitive and lets me know if any potential problems could occur, like the outside temp is getting close to be too warm to print. That's awesome idea. In the next few weeks, I'll be giving the printer a service, lubricate all the moving parts, shafts, bearings etc, to ensure continues reliability. This printer is proving to be one of my finest decisions. Very pleased

I have owned this printer for approx 1 month, maybe a little longer. I'm using this printer every day and thoroughly enjoy the machine. I closely monitor the printing to be sure no hickups occur.
Any issues are sorted out quickly with no fuss. Since I had to repair the machine a few weeks ago, it hasn't faulted at all. In fact it's been perfect. I have the printer working over time on most days, printing projects which take a minimum of 2. 5 hours to complete. One after the other, the printer will be working a minimum of 9 hours at a time. I've had zero issues with this at all. If I detect the ambient Temp, (outside the printer) becomes too warm, I literally allow the printer to cooldown then switch it off for a few hours.
Overall a great investment, well worth the money.
