Kapton tape

On assembling our new printer the Kapton tape was removed from the heated bed thinking it was only a protective packing layer. We now have replaced it and now find the objects stick to the bed. Ok so we are newbies, have a laugh. The product is great and the despatch time was fantastic. This was all spoilt by Australia Posts delivery time. Claimed to be 3 to 4 working days. It took 8 working days not including the dispatch day and the actual day it arrived in my mail box. Any more purchases I will try Express post even though I live outside the Express Post delivery area.

Ordered 6 rolls of PLA filament of different colors, Kapton 200mm tape for the bed (works great with PLA), 10 piece 0.4 mm drills (Japanese) for cleaning the extruder nozzle and an applicator for applying the Kapton tape. PLA filament works well. Drills do a great job and the Kapton tape is so easy to apply with a bit of soapy water or window cleaner. Got everything I ordered at a price I was happy with and arrived within a week. Could track the delivery too. Also happy to support a local business.

Heat Resistant Polymide Tape is an excellent surface for adhering ABS and PLA to the heat bed of your 3D printer. This 30 meter roll will last for many prints. This 200mm wide roll allows you to cove the entire print area without any seams.
