HOW TO CLEAN YOUR 3D PRINTER HOT END

1. Heat the nozzle to a temperature you normally print at.

2. Scrap off as much access filament with a scraper or tweezers. We have a great selection of tweezers for 3d printing -here-

3. Use Abrasive brushes to clean. Steel on harder areas and the Brass on softer metal areas such as brass nozzles. The bristles on the steel brush are harder then brass nozzles, so take caution not to deform the profile of the nozzle hole.

4. Do not use the Nylon bristle brush on heated areas of the extruder. Use this on delicate area such as cables and plastic when cold.
